Cancer Recovery Boutique at Rene's Lagniappe
Monday 21 January 2008 at 10:04 pm Rene' Teague-Osuna has had a passion for helping women look their best for years." During the early part of my courier I would see women with a wig on that was like a big rug on their head and everyone knew she had cancer and was wearing a wig. I thought there had to be something I could do to help them not look so conspicuous. I was on a mission and found it didn't stop with the wig. Women are able to overcome anything in life if they feel good about how they look."Now a certified Look Good Feel Better volunteer Rene helps the women look good and feel better through the American Cancer Society.
Always wanting to do more Rene' is now a certified fitter for mastectomy bras and prosthetics. After the expansion of the salon in 2007 Rene' has a private room devoted to cancer recovery. This boutique is a dream come true.
"I now feel like I truly can make women look their best and give them back the famine look and feel we all need as women."
